Multilaw firms advise Hong Kong listed corporation, Road King on its investment in UK technology company

 
 

Penningtons Manches has advised Road King Investment and Asset Management Group Limited (Road King) on its multi-million investment in UK mixed reality company, Holovis.

The team worked closely with Hong Kong based Multilaw law firm, Fairbairn Catley Low & Kong, with senior partner Billy Kong and corporate partner Christopher Yu coordinating the transaction.

India’s largest automotive components producer makes strategic investment in UK electrical vehicle manufacturer

 
 

Penningtons Manches’ corporate and India group teams have advised Indian public company Bharat Forge Limited (BFL), on its strategic £10 million investment in UK electrical vehicle manufacturer Tevva Motors.

Tevva manufactures “the world’s greenest trucks” and has a proven track record in commercialising automotive, electric vehicles and battery technologies. Its ground-breaking patented software ensures only electric drive is used in low carbon zones.

Drug discovery company, Enterprise Therapeutics raises £29 million in Series B funding round

 
 

Penningtons Manches’ corporate team has advised Brighton-based Enterprise Therapeutics Ltd on the closing of a circa £29 million Series B funding round.

The investment was co-led by Versant Ventures and Novartis Bioventures, with new investor Forbion Capital, and existing investors, Epidarex Capital and IP Group, completing the syndicate.

Karger Publishers acquires Health Press to strengthen its clinical decision support business

 
 

The corporate team at Penningtons Manches has advised Sarah Redston, the founder of Health Press Ltd, on the sale of the company to leading biomedical publisher, Karger Publishers.

The acquisition strengthens Swiss-based Karger’s clinical decision support business and complements the publisher’s German-based activities in translating knowledge from scientific research to clinical practice.

University of Oxford spin-out, Opsydia raises £1.9 million funding for diamond security technology

 
 

Penningtons Manches has advised Oxford based Opsydia Limited on its £1.9 million funding from Oxford Sciences Innovation and Parkwalk and subsequent agreement with leading diamond dealers, De Beers.
