Actor gets permission to work in the UK on short notice
Our immigration team was instructed by a film production company which needed a renowned international actor to travel to the UK in less than five working days. The company had just filed their online sponsor licence application.
We assisted them with submitting supporting documents, and through our high level contacts at the UK Border Agency, we were able to expedite the process so that the licence was granted in one day rather than the usual eight weeks. We faxed the information to the immigration officer at Heathrow and the actor had a smooth entry to the UK, just five days after the production company's sponsor licence application was submitted.
The actor was able to start filming on schedule and completed six weeks of filming in the UK as a lead actor in the movie.
