Failure to diagnose bacterial meningitis

Our client contracted bacterial meningitis, which his local hospital failed to diagnose and treat. As a result, he suffered severe brain damage, demonstrating in weakness down his right side, paralysis and cognitive difficulties.

He is Italian and returned home to live with his parents following these events. The case was complicated by currency fluctuations, which we had to ensure did not affect the settlement value of the case so that funds were preserved and were sufficient to meet his care needs in Italy.
