Our medical negligence solicitors are investigating on behalf of a minor a claim arising from a fracture to the upper arm (humerus) at the elbow. The nature of fractures to the elbow, particularly in children, can vary significantly and so, therefore, can the treatment needed.
Our client’s fracture was manipulated and put in plaster, but in fact the fracture was unstable and subsequently displaced, so that our client has needed corrective surgery. We are investigating whether she should have been operated on in the first place, thus avoiding the pain and suffering she experienced in the meantime.
