First tier 1 (entrepreneur) entrepreneurial team
We were initially contacted at the beginning of 2011 by two individuals wishing to switch in the UK to tier 1 (entrepreneur) in order to set up a business together.
Following the introduction of entrepreneurial teams in April 2011, we then advised our clients of the new option available to them which essentially saved them having to invest an additional £200,000 between them into their business.
Our clients decided to take up this new option and applied as an entrepreneurial team. We submitted the applications on their behalf and these were approved less than four weeks after submission. It has since been confirmed by the UKBA that these are the first and only entrepreneurial team applications to be approved in the UK since their introduction in April 2011.
