Our lawyers advised a healthcare regulator on its investigation and hearing into the alleged misconduct of a registrant. The allegations against the registrant were that he had provided items to a patient without first assessing them correctly, failed to provide sufficient aftercare to the patient and failed to make adequate records.
The registrant was found guilty of misconduct but his fitness to practise was found not to be currently impaired. Nicole Curtis had conduct of the matter and appeared as advocate at the hearing.
