Lights out at cinema exit lead to compensation for injuries
Our client was at a well known cinema complex one afternoon and, after the screening of the film finished, she began to make her way out of the cinema. However, the screen lighting needed to allow visitors to exit safely failed to come on and the area was very dark.
She lost her footing and fell to the ground suffering a significant wrist facture and other soft tissue injuries to her body. As a result of our representation, she has received £16,000 in damages to compensate her for the injuries sustained and the ongoing restriction.
