Overturning of entry clearance refusal
Our client, an Indian doctor, had had his entry clearance application as a work permit holder refused. The entry clearance officer also imposed a 10 year re-entry ban.
We filed notice of appeal and made robust representations to the entry clearance manager (ECM) pointing out that the refusal was flawed and that they had unlawfully imposed the re-entry ban. The ECM, under pressure from us for a quick decision, agreed with us and decided within a matter of days to overturn the refusal without the need for us to fight the appeal.
Our client is now working in his position as a specialist doctor at a renowned London clinic.
