The team acted on behalf of a regulator with regard to Mr B, who appeared before the disciplinary committee. The allegations were that Mr B, having agreed with a client that he would undertake a certain clinical procedure, failed to do so and then was dishonest in his account to his employers about the incident.
The disciplinary committee found that these actions, which had been admitted by Mr B, amounted to serious professional misconduct and directed that Mr B should be suspended from the register for three months.
Neil Wilks undertook the investigation and Nicole Curtis appeared as advocate on behalf of the regulatory body.
