Woman injured by neighbour's dogs while trying to protect her own

We acted for a client who sustained permanent injuries to her hand as a result of an incident involving a neighbour’s dogs. She was walking along a footpath when the dogs in the adjacent property ran out and attacked her dogs. When she tried to separate the animals, but both she and her dogs were injured.

The claim was brought on the basis that the dogs were not properly contained given the property was next to the public footpath.
