Members of Penningtons Manches Cooper’s private wealth group featured in 2023 edition of The Spear’s 500

Several members of Penningtons Manches Cooper’s private wealth sector group have featured in the latest edition of The Spear’s 500, for 2023. In total, 19 individuals, from across five teams, feature in the guide.

Launched in 2006, Spear’s is a leading wealth management and luxury lifestyle magazine for the ultra-high-net-worth community. Its directory, The Spear’s 500, has been described as ’the Michelin Guide of wealth’, and is comprised of the top private client advisers, wealth managers, lawyers, and service providers for HNW individuals. Rankings are derived from interviews, peer reviews, and analysis from subject matter experts, meaning that all those featuring in the guide are there based on merit.

From the family team, Anna Worwood, head of department, and partner James Stewart, head of strategy for family law, have both been featured, with James achieving the coveted rank of ‘Top Flight Family Lawyer’. In total, nine members of the family law team are present in the guide, including partners Amanda Andrews, Rebecca Carlyon, Emma Willing, Elizabeth Carson, Tammy Knox, and Laura Naser, and consultant Jane Craig.

Clare Archer, partner, and head of the London private client team, is joined by partners James d’Aquino, Laura Dadswell, and Lucy Edwards, all recommended for their expertise in handling tax affairs. Michael Cash, head of the contentious probate and trust disputes team, is meanwhile featured as one of four recommended probate lawyers.

For immigration matters, head of the immigration team, Pat Saini, partner Hazar El-Chamaa, and senior associate Meghan Vozila are also recommended, with partners Jeremy Clarke-Williams and Adele Ashton rounding off this year’s cohort, featuring in the directory for their proficiency in reputation management and privacy law.
