The corporate team at Penningtons Manches Cooper has advised Apave Group, an international group with more than 150 years of experience, specialising in the management of technical, environmental, human and digital risks, on the acquisition of PPL Training, a company specialising in safe systems of work and technical compliance training courses.
PPL Training has been supporting its customers for almost 20 years in training their teams in workplace safety and technical compliance. Recognised as a leader in its market, PPL Training offers its customers a wide range of training courses: electrical and mechanical safety, water hygiene and sanitation, safety in the healthcare system, gas handling and fire safety.
Apave is an international group with over 150 years of experience in technical, human, environmental and digital risk management. An independent company with a presence in more than 55 countries and a turnover of €1.2 billion in 2023, it currently has 14,000 employees, including 10,000 engineers and technicians, 18 test centres, 130 agencies in France and 170 training sites in France and abroad, which train more than 560,000 people a year.
The Penningtons Manches Cooper team advising Apave Group was led by corporate partner Richard Wrigley, with support from associate Hayfa Hazem.
