The corporate team at Penningtons Manches Cooper has advised the shareholders of Delta Hat on its acquisition by Petauri.

Delta Hat provides industry leading analysis and health economic modelling to the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Petauri is a purpose-built pharmaceutical services platform based in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, and is backed by Oak Hill Capital, a New York-based private equity firm.

The Penningtons Manches Cooper team was led by corporate partner Will Axtell, managing associate Dominique Sabatini, and associate Leo Shrimpton. The wider team included corporate tax partner Kathy Potter and senior associate Leonie Langley.

Anthony Hatswell, founder of Delta Hat, said: “Working with Will and Dominique was a pleasure. Being able to interact with experts, who were dedicated to making sure that what was important to the Delta Hat team was properly implemented in the deal, really helped us achieve a successful outcome. The deep sector experience in the team was a differentiator in selecting Penningtons Manches Cooper, and they delivered exactly as I hoped they would.”

Will Axtell, corporate partner at Penningtons Manches Cooper, said: “We are delighted to have advised Delta Hat on this strategic acquisition by Petauri. We wish them both well for what should be a very exciting future. This transaction demonstrates Penningtons Manches Cooper’s strength in UK-US cross border M&A, as well as our expertise in the life sciences sector”.
