Profile

Tessa is an associate in the projects, development and construction team based in London, specialising in non-contentious work. She has acted for a variety of commercial clients and has experience across the full spectrum of construction, infrastructure, and development projects. Tessa has a particular interest in renewable energy projects, sustainable development, and infrastructure.

She has advised on and negotiated a large range of industry standard building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, and development agreements.

Tessa joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2022 as a trainee, and did two seats with the projects, development and construction team before qualifying in 2024.

Recent work highlights

Assisting with the drafting and negotiation of a suite of construction documents for the roll out of approximately 50 care homes over the next five to seven years.
Drafting and advising on a large sustainable development project in central London.
Assisting with the provision of subsidy and procurement advice for a regional council.
