Lauren is an associate in the commercial dispute resolution team in London. She works with businesses, individuals and charities across a range of commercial, financial, regulatory and public law matters. She enjoys getting to know her clients to find out what matters to them, so that she can provide tailored advice and practical solutions to support their needs and objectives.
Her practice includes advising on commercial contracts, shareholder and banking disputes, international and cross border matters, debt recovery, tax disputes and a variety of other matters. She has experience representing clients in both High Court and Court of Appeal proceedings.
Lauren joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in May 2022 from another London law firm where she trained, and where she qualified in 2019. Prior to training as a solicitor, Lauren worked at the Financial Ombudsman Service, resolving disputes between consumers and financial businesses and gaining experience of retail banking disputes and financial mis-selling claims. Lauren studied law with Spanish at the University of Sheffield. Her degree included one year studying Spanish law at the University of Valencia.
