Sarah is a managing associate in the employment team and acts on behalf of both individual and corporate clients across a range of sectors. She advises employers and employees on day-to-day employment issues and disputes including disciplinary and grievance matters, restructurings and employee relations generally. Sarah has an expertise in the financial regulatory aspects of employment disputes. She has successfully resolved employment tribunal claims on behalf of businesses, particularly claims of unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing, and also assists individuals in bringing such claims.
Sarah offers practical, behind-the-scenes guidance from the preliminary stages and aims to conclude contentious matters as smoothly as possible. She regularly advises employers on settlement and reviews settlement terms on behalf of employees. In addition, Sarah advises on non-contentious contract and handbook reviews and offers support and training to employers on HR issues. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
After studying Law at Nottingham University, Sarah joined the firm as a trainee in 2008 and qualified in 2010.
