Profile

Adam is a senior associate in the Oxford family team. He advises on all areas of family law including separation, children matters and financial remedy proceedings, including cases with an international element. 

He has particular expertise in funding for family law cases, having worked in-house at two market-leading litigation lenders, before returning to private practice with Penningtons Manches Cooper. 

Adam has been described in The Legal 500 as ‘hard working, client-friendly and [with] very good judgement’ and is ‘Recommended’ in the Spears family lawyers index. Adam is an active member of Resolution and sits on its Training and Learning Committee.

  • Acting in a Schedule 1 Children Act high net worth case involving international trusts.
  • Representing a high-profile client in the music and entertainment industry in relation to confidential arrangements for children.
  • Acting in a case involving consideration of income in excess of £1 million including consideration of performance related bonuses and post-separation accrual.
  • Acting in a complex children case where one parent sought to remove the child to another jurisdiction.
  • Assisting clients in a number of cases where there have been allegations of domestic abuse and coercive and controlling behaviour.
