Sophie is an associate in the immigration team, and she advises on all aspects of immigration law for individuals and corporates. She has many years of experience in assisting on complex matters, and tailors her advice to ensure a solution in the clients’ best interests is found.

Her client base is broad and varied, ranging from small start-ups to ultra-high net worth individuals and their families, and she is able to advise on all matters relating to individuals in relation to their private and family matters, including naturalisation. Sophie also provides strategic advice for companies navigating the complexities of immigration law post-Brexit, and has specialised in matters relating to the EU Settlement Scheme. Her expertise extends to the new Global Business Mobility route recently introduced for companies wishing to bring workers to the UK.

Sophie joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2022 and is an active member of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association. She has over nine years of experience in immigration law and qualified as a solicitor in 2017.
