Profile

Tom is an associate in the Oxford family team, advising on all aspects of family law, including divorce, financial disputes, children, cohabitation and Family Law Act matters, as well as pre-nuptial agreements and post-nuptial agreements.

He has experience working on complex high net worth financial remedy cases, including those involving complex business interests, international assets, crypto-assets, conduct issues and the enforcement of financial orders. Tom also has experience assisting clients with disputes regarding children, including those with elements of international child abduction, relocation and domestic abuse.

As a member of Resolution, he always endeavours to help clients resolve disputes in a constructive manner. Previous clients have described Tom as having a ‘calming presence’ and ‘inspiring confidence’. A law and business graduate of the University of Warwick, Tom has a particularly strong understanding of corporate structures and the commercial considerations that can arise in family law matters. Before qualifying as a solicitor, he worked as a criminal disclosure paralegal at the Serious Fraud Office and as a document review paralegal on a public inquiry for the Cabinet Office.
