Expanding our highly regarded charity sector expertise, partner Hilary Aldred and associate Rachel Spruce have been appointed to the panel of approved Interim Managers for the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
The Charity Commission is a non-ministerial government department that regulates registered charities and maintains the Central Register of Charities. The appointment is the result of a comprehensive application process.
When charities run into difficulties the Charity Commission may appoint an Interim Manager to work alongside its team, or as a separate team to its existing trustees, depending on the scope of the matter.
Hilary Aldred commented: “We are delighted to be appointed to the Interim Manager panel, this allows us to apply our sector expertise to support the Charity Commission and importantly, the charities themselves.”
Rachel Spruce commented: “This is a really interesting opportunity for us to work with charities in difficulty, where our experience will enable us to support organisations and their trustees in promoting good governance and in compliance with their regulatory responsibilities.
