Kamran is head of the commercial dispute resolution team. He advises clients on a wide variety of commercial, financial and property-related disputes as well as on professional negligence, company and partnership law, civil fraud, insolvency and recovery actions. Primarily, his work is focused in the banking, finance (including FinTech) and real estate (including PropTech) sectors, and clients include banks, other financial institutions, real estate funds, business owners and family offices. He also has experience of disputes in the energy, construction, tech and aviation sectors. Kamran’s clients are based in the UK, as well as in Europe, the Middle East, India and Pakistan and he has experience of acting in cross border disputes including international arbitration.
Since 2009, Kamran has successfully acted for a large number of banking and finance sector clients in professional negligence actions, predominantly against valuers and solicitors, and has successfully concluded all these disputes, either in mediation, other forms of ADR or in trial or arbitration.
