Katie is a managing associate in the employment team. She has experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting for employers and employees.
She has been involved in a number of tribunal hearings and has assisted with claims arising from complex discrimination and whistleblowing issues. Her role includes advising on TUPE issues, restructuring and redundancy processes, the enforceability of restrictive covenants, and the conduct of disciplinary proceedings. Katie also provides corporate support, advising on the terms of employment contracts, employee handbooks and company policies and procedures. She is an active member of the firm’s education sector group, with a particular focus on schools.
Katie presents seminars both internally and externally on a wide range of employment topics and has written articles for our regular employment update as well as external publications. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Katie joined the firm as trainee in 2010 and qualified as a solicitor in 2012.
